Outbreak + Spider-man: web of shadows

Core awoke onto a hot sweaty day and got up to go to his his job it was over two hours away in the woods. He get's a couple days off every now and then. He would sleep at his job and his neck got the pains to prove it. Core asked his neighbor to feed his cats for him and left his apartment home and got in his car. He stopped at a store and bought some coffee and chocolate. His cell rang and looked at the I.D. and saw his boss's name. He answered. "I know I'm on my way now." Core said annoyed already.

"Core we got something you know that rock well it had a liquid in it. Which was odd and because it did it at a certain temperature. It seemed to be a living organism. It seemed to have intelligence as well. Get here quick we need more staff everyone else is sick." She said pleading really.

"You sound like your asking and whining. Look you got to be a boss not the worker you have alot of power. You shouldn't abuse it I know mom adopted me so you can't fire me. How many people are sick. Never mind I got to get through these woods." Core said making an excuse for his younger sister by adoption.

"Oh I can fire you but I love your cats. Then again...I could take the cats then fire you. About half the scientist are sick most of our rats are well dead. Oh keep an eye on the weight of the creature. Bye now oh love ya." She hung her office phone and watched the T.V. that showed the liquid.

Core smiled and hung up his phone he took a sip on his coffee and after the woods became thick he arrived at a parking lot under ground. He got out his car and looked at the parking lot which was nearly empty.

Core took his card out and brought it over the scan. The door opened and he walked into an elevator. As it stopped after 5 stories. Core waved to his co-workers and looked inside the locker room the closed lockers were people who were sick. He took out his Bio suit and put it on. He entered the area and looked at the liquid. then he looked at the weight. 2 pounds...

Zeki's portal opened in a forrest he smirked "just the place i wanted to be in this world" he began to observe the plants and trees he sighed "typical" he shook his head "so many places are yeilding the same thing it's boring......make my job a bit easier though" he took out a device that resambled an iphone he began to take some notes on it. while he did he occiasionaly touched some of the plants or pulled off leaves "i wonder why this realm is uncharted it's horribly plain" he looked around "wonder if it's even devloped yet"

Core noticed the weight and recorded it each hour the weight still measured the same as it did several hours ago. He left the room and took off the suit and hung it up. Core walked into the shower room and showered quickly put on his boxers and jumped in his cot and fell fast asleep. Core awoke by his sister in the middle of the night. "Elizabeth what are you doing waking me up." Core looked on her face.

"Come on you have to see what happened to the liquid. It's weird." She got dressed in her own suit. Core hurried with his suit. He walked in the room with his sister." Look at the weight." Core walked over to the measure table. "You see it it now ways one pound...it lost half it's weight." Elizabeth said a little shocked by the situation.

"Let me go see it up close." Core said as he entered the chamber with the liquid inside it. He looked at her and gave her thumbs up. He looked around to see if it had separated. Core shrugged and looked at the liquid carefully. He then turned around. the other pound of liquid chanced it's color to the color of Core's suit. He fell to his back and clung. "I'll record the changes you go back. I'll call you in the morning it seems not many of us are left." Core said leaving the room.

"There's something I must say there was a leak. You know that other thing we were working on well one of them was broken. The man who was stuck inside the chamber closed the hatch and sealed it off. It was fine but the board doesn't think so. There shutting down that project." Elizabeth walked away to the shower room.

Core took off his suit and was so tired just went to bed. He fell asleep quickly but he awoke with a pain in his stomach. As he turned over to fall asleep he had what seemed to be a nightmare the liquid had gotten in his body. He then woke up in a cold sweat. He looked at the clock six am. He turned and got off his bed. When he went out his room. Some men approached him.

"You there you and your employer must leave this section...our president will speak to you both above ground." Core met with his sister and took the elevator up. There they met an interesting figure.

Zeki had wandered the wood many hours recording everything he stoped when he saw a road he smirked there was a tree that he saw was fake (cameras no doubt, intelligent life resides here) he hurried over to the tree (this is gonna be fun maybe they have a bed i can sleep in for a bit) he took out a blunt and lit it he waved a the cameras "he guys it's kinda cold out here so.......if your going to capture me or something that would be nice, i really would like to be inside somewhere warm right now" he looked at his lab coat "see i'm a scientist that could be worth your while" he waved at the camera "hmm....guess there is no speaker" he blew out smoke at it and looked around "hmm thought i heard something" he shruged and continued smoking

"Are you the employer of these...men and are you from the board." Core said shaking the woman's hand. She was attractive and Core thought a man would run this business he was excited he was wrong. "Most of out members are sick there was an accident when I was off. He was sent to the hospital or so I was told it was a containment facility in the city." Core smiled and wondered what would happen next.

"Well you were wrong about that the transport vehicle didn't make it back to the hospital. You are going on an exhibition ti find this truck. You and a hand full of me men. Your sister will be on your frequency." She handed him the comm and gave Elizabeth the other one. "I want to know first thing when you find it. There is a vehicle waiting for you up ahead. Don't be late." She was in Core's face and he smelled her breath which smelled sweet. Core was kind of scared of her. He rubbed his neck to ease the pain there.

Core walked up to the garage door there was two jeeps. Core walked on and got in the jeep. He waved to his sister as they drove off in the opposite direction he came in. "Relax we know where were going the ambulance was no ambulance it was a competitor's van disguised as a ambulance. They are headed to a mansion which is an actual training facility. How do we know because the facility never even got the call of the accident." Core pointed at a person in a white lab coat on the road. "I see the next jeep will pick who ever it is up." Core looked at the person and watched the second jeep stop. After a few moments they arrived at the mansion there were no guards and no signs of life but there was a clean van with white and red shavings on it.

"We see the van but nothing else except a large mansion." Core said feeling a little creepy with the situation." Then Core rubbed his neck again.

"Well you guys are going to have to investigate the mansion." The employer said. "Be careful these guys have a bad nature."

They introduced themselves to Core. "Okay your Vince, Tyler, and your Phil." Core said as they each nodded to each of their names. Core and the others walked into the mansion.

Zeki saw the jeep pull up he looked at them oddly then blew some smoke out (humans, interesting) he smiled "do you guys speak english?"

One of the men nodded "get in the jeep"

Zeki put out his blunt "ok, you guys are going somewhere warm right?" he smiled pleasently knowing they would react strangely to his cooperation

the man looked at him the jeep's engine gave a load moan making it a bit dificult to hear him "i guess....just get in!"

Zeki chuckled (first human subject encountered seems dismayed with confronted but an ironic twist in, that he expected me to refuse and therefore fight with him but i instead accepted the offer with only the question that the place he is possibly jailing me in is warm, fun) Zeki opened the door and sat in the jeep's back seat another man was in the front seat not willing to speak. the man next to him eyeballed Zeki as though he were a talking flower Zeki smiled at him "i'm not all that deadly friend" the man gave an even odder look then turned away (human subject 2, bothered when confronted with odd cheerfulness which is typical of my behavior when i have not gotten enough sleep, aloof human subject 3 seems unwilling to speak upon my entering the vehicle, it's obvious that all men must speak english though) the jeep continued moving down the road and pulled up along side the other

the driver called out "we got the man in the coat, he looks like he's been wandering the woods for sometime, he also seems to be high"

Zeki held back a laughed "i'm more buzzed accually, i barely got a few puffs in before you fine gentlemen showed up" (human subject 1 writes off my temperment to my addiction though does not take into consideration what i would be wearing a lab coat for, or for what reason i may be wandering the woods) Zeki looked down at himself (it has come to my attention that there odd gazes my be contributed to my appearnce which at this point could pass off as a mentaly unstable)

Wesker stood at the entrace of the mansion and smiled. "Its been awhile since I've set foot in one of these." He opened the door and walked to a portrait on the wall. "Hello Red Queen. I see I missed some of you." a red light flashed in one of the eyes and returned to normal. Wesker smiled and took a seat in a large chair in the front room and looked around. "Umbrella seems to enjoy lavishing these throw away labs." He sat for awhile and got up and started to look around the main level.

As Core looked around the insides of the mansion. He looked at the cobwebs and he rubbed his neck again. "So what now guys. There's so many doors and. I guess we split up right?" Core looked at the leader for approval. Vince nodded. "Let me guess two and two?" Core said doing the leader's job.

"Yep two groups of two." Vince said they then dispersed and went in to separate rooms.

Core looked around the large dining room. He then remembered this mansion he puzzled himself on what caused it to hit the news. His eyes searched the table which was a mess. "Why is this place in such a mess it's like they..." Core was cut off by Vince.

"A mess probably due to they were in a hurry to stop something when was the guy sent in the ambulance."Vince said but they stopped talking when they heard something in the next room. Core felt useless because his neck felt unusually achy today so he grabbed the candle stick off the table." Vince opened the next door to find a long hall way. to the left was a small sitting area. There were blood stains on the ground really old ones. Vince looked at the rug. "These have been here awhile. Looks like whatever it was, was dragged into the next room." Vince walked over to the door. Core cried out.

"My head I got a splitting headache all of a sudden. It hurts so d*mn bad." Core fell to his knees and saw blood dropping from his nose . it then stopped. "What was that. Come on let's go This hall way scares the sh*t out of me." Core stepped up and walked behind Vince. "Let's go meet with that other team I want to see who that guy was." Core said and Vince agreed rather quickly. Core didn't notice the blood was gone. He hurried outside to see the jeep pull into the mansion's drive way.

Zeki saw some men come outside he got out and was about to walk toward them when the driver came out and pinned him against the Jeep

"Where the hell do you think your going?" the man glared at him and kept a tight hold

Zeki seemed rather unimpressed "Just wanting to greet these other people, if that is a crime here it would be news to me" he smiled pleasently again

the man shook his head and looked to core and the others "i don't know whats wrong with this man but he's really acting crazy"

Zeki sighed "i'm not stupid i do understand what you guys are saying" (i'm fortunate they are rather slow, if they searched me they would find my weed and my weapons....well they'll be seeds to them but no need for them to toss them all on the ground or something) Zeki waited for what judgement would be passed on him (i should get the nighshade ready just incase they get trigger happy)

"So now what's going on the only person we have seen and your battering him. Come on let him go." Core watched them tackle the man. Vince's comm started to go off. He then took it and tried to answer but got static. "This area must be some kind of damping field for electronics. This explains why my nagging sister whose married and no use for a relation ship has not called." Core stressed the situation of his sister as he watched their faces.

"Yeah whatever man, I'm going back in you coming or what. Then again this guy might get his arms torn off by my men so I'll stay here and make sure they don't." Vince said looking at the men.

"No your men tried to call you they may need your help we should all go in and check the place out. I can go with the doc if he wants. We'll try to radio on my comm if we find them." Core said approaching the savage guy holding the scientist down. Core rubbed the back of his neck. He got the feeling this guy wasn't all that seemed. Something told him to be cautious.

the man let Zeki up he glared at him and moved out of the way "talk to him then you'll see he's far gone" he seemed ready to get Zeki again

Zeki rearranged his glasses and smiled at core he held out his hand "my name is Zeki, that is about as much as i can say about myself, if you want you can call me Agent 302Z" he laughed alittle "i kinda have to answer to that"

the man shook his head "see"

Core shook the Zeki's hand and maybe was wrong. "Agent huh. I like the thought of going back inside. You feel up to it Zeki I can go back with Vince but I doubt you wish to stay with the guys who love you so much they can't keep heir hands off you." Core thought of his beloved cats and realized it started to get dark and cloudy. "Looks like rain the dirt road will surely not be with us in the rain."

the man shook his head "i think your making a mistake taking this guy with you"

Zeki turned serious a seed was in his hand "if you keep this up i might have to show you what this can do"

the man looked at the seed then shook his head and went back into the jeep "whatever"

Zeki kept the seed ready "I don't mind going in with you, i've been stuck outside all night, if i knew this place was here i would have entered it sooner" Zeki seemed much more serious now "may i ask what you are all doing here, this place seems rather dull to be getting so much attention" Zeki's pleasent smile had faded and was replaced by a more cold expersion (human subject 4 appears to be suffering from some, currently unknown, virus possibly....he is human so it's likely some common cold or possible flu, whatever it may be it has not spread enough to seem to have drawn his attention to the possible illness nor has it seem to spread enough to disable him in any way) Zeki whiped his hand on his coat (regardless i can only hope that it is not contagious)

Core looked at the seed and wondered if he was wrong about being wrong about him. "I'm going inside the mansion I'll see you inside Zeki." Core ran inside the mansion and waited in the main hall. He then heard footsteps. Footsteps that shuffled his head started to hurt really badly again. Core fell to his knees coughed up blood. "What is wrong with my head, my neck it hurts so bad." Core laid on his side in pain. The shuffling footsteps grew closer. "What am I going to do." He then blacked out.

Zeki hurried inside after Core. the door shut behind him he heard a locking mechanism "oh boy...." Zeki sighed worriedly then he looked at Core he walked over to him and checked to see if he was ok "hey...." he stoped when he saw the blood (something made him lose conciousness....it's possible that he had a stroke though....) he looked around and began to hear something suffeling toward them he drew the seed "ok nightshade think it's about time i use you" the seed grew in his hand as he focused on it. the seed grew into a long vine that touched down to the floor, then thorns grew from the vine. he continued to listen until he heard a loud moan he tensed further (undead? here? what is with this realm) suddenly he saw the figure suffeling toward core Zeki lashed out the vine toward the zombie's neck it wraped around the Zombie's neck. Zeki gave a hard jerk the throns riped the Zombie's head off. the body crumbled to the floor. Zeki sighed "lot of good my poisons will do now" he shook his head
