Agent Seven - Scythe
Name:
Unit Seven is his designation, Scythe his code name, he has no use for his old name.
Age:
He was turned into what he is aged 23, it has been 11 years since then.
Character's Origin:
An old picture of mine, which was going to be used as a Gurps character. Remade into a futuristic version of himself.
Personality:
Dispassionate, but protective of those that cannot fight, believing that those who are weaker should be protected by the stronger. Can be harsh and insensitive, often preferring to head off on his own, wishing to just get on with his assigned task. Because of his nature, many people don't react to well to his presence, often scaring civilians. Because of this whenever Seven needs to go out in public he wears a large cloak to disguise his body, keeping it pulled around himself.
Description:
Stands at 6'4", but is often slightly stooped, coming to 6'2". Most of his body has been replaced with cybernetic enhancements, including his arms and from the waist down.
His hands and feet end in sharp claws, and his lower arm is encased in a shell like guard. His legs too have these 'guards'. His chest is covered in a thick armoured shell, and his waist is encased in rings of metal that allow him to bend. He also has a large-ish tail hanging down, which gently sways even when not moving.
The top of his neck down to the bottom of the neck are covered in sharp spine like devices, and the lower part of his mouth is covered by a device of sorts. The few places that skin is visible it's pale, and the eyes hold an odd colour, as if fading from blue to red.
The overall look gives him the slight appearance of a reptile, and his movements often only enhance this.
Most of the time he shrouds his appearance with a large black cloak and hood, though its beginning to fray at the edges, it still is just about capable of masking him unless closely observed.
When he talks, his voice is slightly deep, strong and slightly husky.
History:
He knows little of his past but the few memory flashes he occasionally gets. The earliest memories that he has of waking up in agony, writhing in pain for hours until he could sleep. Next he woke the pain had gone, and he could finally take in his surroundings. He had awoken in a bright white cell, strapped to a chair, with wires and needles covering him. Moments later men entered the room and knocked him out with a gas mask.
When he woke up, things were different, his body had been replaced, shining metal in its stead. He felt odd that there was no pain, or maybe there was, but it was such a dull sensation that it didn't matter. A General of the human forces enter the room a few minutes later and place his cap on a table nearby, took a chair and sat on it opposite Seven.
"You, my young man, should be dead... But the scientists at the development centre have resurrected your body, or what was left of it, giving you a second chance of life. We have no idea who you are, and from what the team tells me, nether will you, so maybe the second life thing means somewhat less then it would otherwise." The general clasped his hands in front of him and considered Seven.
"But we know you were a soldier, and as that new body of yours belongs to the army, you will be working for us, do you understand?"
All that Seven could do was nod....
The following months he was trained in the use of his body, its abilities and the art of assassination. He accelled at all of this, and was released on his first mission.
Many times he was sent out, each time he returned, mission completed. Once again he has been sent out, another mission he has to complete.
Weaknesses, Special Strengths, and Immunities:
Being Composed of high tech cybernetics, his body requires high maintenance, luckily he was trained to look after himself should he not be able to return to base, but some materials are hard to find, making repairs slow unless he can find a supply.
Any kind of heavy electric discharge are potentially dangerous to him, even though he has been insulated, it could easily short-circuit anything in his body, many bit of which he needs to remain alive.
Power is another main issue, his body requires large amounts of power. The generator within his body can keep him running, but heavy activity, his teleportation unit and energy weapons require more then it can generate in that moment, so he also has a power storage unit, holding energy for these thing.
Though being cybernetic he still needs to eat, though not quite as much as the average person.
One of the main abilities that his cybernetics give him, apart from enhanced mobility, strength and toughness, its the ability to 'blink' short distances. Though this isn't a true teleportation, he still needs to be able to move there, so objects can block his path, but this allow his to reach high ledges, jump large gaps etc. He has also been trained how to use this in combat, added with his large close combat expertise, makes his deadly at short range. The greatest distance that this can take his so far is about 60 foot, but using this is a large drain on his power reserves, and the larger the distance the greater the drain.
Naturally his cybernetics give him extra protection from melee and bullets, though AP rounds from larger caliber guns can still penetrate and damage the insides, also because of the lack of open skin, fire, radiation and other things are slightly less effective, though can still easily become deadly.
His tail is highly flexible and strong, capable of supporting his weight should the need be, and able to extend from 3' to about 4'6". The tip ends in a blade which can be retracted.
The mask on his face act as a gas mask as well as protection, though it can be removed for him to eat. Sensors in his body can allow him to see things in IR.
Thanks to the claws on his hands and feet, and the strength granted by the cybernetics, he is also capable of climbing most surfaces.
Mounted on the side of each arm is a Rail Gun installed, allowing him to hit things from range. Capable of launching rounds at high speed, in excess of 2000 m/s, in rapid succession.
He holds clips for the rounds in his arm, holding 300 rounds in each, due to the small size of each projectile. Each round has the power of a 7.62x39mm (AK47 round), but the distance and piercing properties are greater due to the size and weight of the round.
The hands have their own small power reserve each, to power the rails of the guns, as the can fire much faster then they can charge. The power reserves contain enough energy for 15 shots each, 30 in total. Once depleted they recharge from his main power reserves.
Power Gauge, measured in percentage.
One hour in full combat mode drains 1% power.
A Blink less then 20ft drains 1%
40ft drains 2%
60ft drains 4%
Recharges at 20% an hour from his generator.
Energy weapons drain 4% energy per recharge.
